Looks like a handy project you've got there. With a little sheetmetal work it looks to be pretty straight.
No difference between 8BA and 8RT that amounts to anything. Different waterpumps because the motor mounting system is different. With the angle-footed pumps you get narrow belt pulleys. The 8RT heads are a little more open - less compression - but not by much. All bolt on stuff - the blocks are the same.
well i think it is . the front fenders and below the grille are the only bad spots . the engine is free and spins over easily by hand and outside of cleaning up and reinstalling some of the electrical that was left hanging it would appear to be pretty easy to get her on the road . just gotta get ma nature to coop ya know . i will say when it comes it's turn this one has gotta be attended too in the appearance dept . i like a " patina " or weathered look but this one is a lil too ugly for even me .
