Mon and Tues it's supposed to be in the 70s and I'm off so it's finally time I install these parts I've had for months now. I'm having a hard time finding a write up, manual, or tips on the actual rebuild of the factory turbo. I got the remove/replace down, but I'm wondering about this rebuild kit I have for it with the seals and bushings, etc. Don't know if some of the parts might need assembly lube or pre-oiled, or if any of the bolts take loc tite, special tools, etc.
It isn't in need of a rebuild, but I am installed a 1.0 housing and high flow outlet, so I'm going to rebuild it while I have it torn down almost all the way. Going to swap on a non-ebpv pedestal and IH up pipes too, whenever they get here; so I'm going to have a little down time until they arrive (last minute decision).

 

Also what is the consensus on using loc-tite on the pedestal and turbo hold down bolts?

I used blue loc-tite on compressor side and red on the exhaust side. I would also use loc-tite on pedistal and turbo hold down bolts. If you look on Bob's (guzzle) site there is a write-up on turbo rebuild.
