Thumbs down 4wheelparts=scammers,liars

thought i would post about my recent experience with 4 wheel parts.called Tyler, ext#5486 to discuss a new set of tires and wheels for my truck. We agreed on a price for the package. Tyler said he would need to ok this with his manager and asked if he could call me back in a few, O.K no problem and he does in just a few minutes, says that as long as i don't mind waiting a few weeks it's a deal.I agree and give him all of my info. Done deal right? the next afternoon Tyler calls and informs me that they can't sell me that tire and wheel package for the agreed price, even though the money has already been debited from my account. So I continue on through several managers and have no luck, they're all wanting to start renegotiation $400 higher than the agreed price. I calmly asked for a refund, which I will recieve in 3-5 days and will never deal with 4wheel parts again.( also found the package $120.00 cheaper elsewhere) tiresdelivered.com

I've had great luck with 4WP, even with them having to ship to Alaska.

there are lots of people with 4wheelparts horror stories

most have something to do with having the wrong shipment sent or wrong components mixed into their lift kits..i was fully expecting at least 1 thing to be wrong with my lift when it arrived but it was actually 100% correct

i agree that 4wp has some issues with service. i tried to order a diff for my truck and i thought it was shipped and sfter it never showed up i called and they they said that my number didn't work, so i went down there and and had them call my number from there phone and WOW it worked. they them tried to sell me another diff i didn't want, they finally refunded my money. another problem i ahd was when i orderd some tires form them in person at a store and the, long story short three seperate trips to pick up the tires and 3 weeks later i finally had my tires. i do not like dealing with them there are much cheaper places to deal with with better service.

I've bought lots of parts and never had a problem. Just like most places some stotres are good- some are bad. Alot depends on the managers running a particular store.

There prices in Tucson store are pretty high. We got a Bullbar and bed cover on ebay for about 200$ dollars cheaper and got free shipping.

I do wish these stores stocked more parts. I would probly pay the higher price if the had it there and not have to wait for it.

had a body lift done on a 89 mazda. 4wp didn't think it important to replace the coolant that they drained from my radiator and I almost burned up my motor on my way home. Was over 3 quarts low, which was about half the volume it took. They didn't seem to care when I went back and asked what they would have done if it cracked the head. My problem, not theirs, at least that's the impression I got. Needless to say, the head cracked a couple thousand later. Always wondered if that contributed to it.

I've never had a problem with 4WP's but I have never ordered from them. I have had them do a lot of work at the local store and have had nothing but praise for them. They have done gears, lockers and new tries and rims. I have had people tell me that at some stores they had bad sevice but ours here has been great. That is the store store in Raleigh, NC... BTW
