Some nice rides, the white pick up is truly awesome!
This backs up what I`ve heard about some neat old but fairly well maintained vehicles in Cuba.
Thanks for the pictures Marlon, I enjoyed them.
By 51/2 I was meaning 1951/1952 but just lazy.
I'm sure Marlon watched the movie "Honey I shrunk the kids" a couple times too. lol
But wow those old cars seeing them being drivin around daily and everywhere, would alone be worth the trip.
I have heard that since Cuba can't buy anything from the states alot of those old cars have russian motors in them. I would be interesting to look under the hood and see what they are.
Never got a chance to look under the hood of anything there, but it sure was neet seeing all the old vehicles driving around. There was a lot of the old stuff that was in desperate need of repair and you saw a lot of cars dead on the side of the road. The newer stuff there is hyundai, Volkswagen, and some mercedes ambulances. The most common new car on the road there is the renault, all of the taxi's we took were Renault's except for one lada.
