We are currently testing the 6.0L BD Exhaust Brake on the 6.4L, to our surprise the hardware bolts right up and is holding back great! We are working on some electronics for the automatic and some exhaust sensors right now, we hope to have it available for Spring.

Will do,

If you go to dieselperformance.com and put your e-mail address in the Sign up for the BD E-Newletter you will get an e-mail with every new p[roduct release.

I will also keep everyone updating the progress on here as well.

Or upgrade the air filter, heck if Ford sold fuel they would void your warranty for putting Chevrons or Shells in.

My 2 cents LOL

We have hundreds of them out there working flawless, I have heard the rumors that the exhaust brakes causing the turbo failures. I think a lot of that comes from the dealers looking for a reason to deny warranty on the turbos and saying the exhaust brake caused the failure. I have seen numbers exceeded 50% failure rate on the 6.0L variable turbo and Ford not being able to keep up with them, they are looking at any reason to get out of another turbo warranty and the exhaust brake give them the reason, so you should be careful with any exhaust brake if you are still under warranty. My best advice is to talk to you dealer first, I have Ford dealers that buy our brakes and other that will attempt to flag your truck with even a hint of aftermarket products. A good example of this is the factory exhaust brake that Cummins now offers, they used to tell everyone they would destroy the turbo and transmissions but now offer one themselves???
