has anybody heard of that svt v-10 that is supposed to come out or am i way late on that. its called the tsunami. id love to have one if one will exist.
What's this, an SVT version of the V10?! Awesome! Hope they build it with 4 valve heads, and give whatever truck it goes into a factory dual exhaust set up! A 500hp/600 lb/ft. of torque Triton V-10( early power estimate...).I'll be in line. Just one thing, out of respect, they really should come up with a better name, you know?
I say stick it in a Reg cab Short Bed SD with lightning cues. That would be an awsome machine. Of course it would have to be available in other SDs as well.
Don't hold your breath. That's old "news" and not even reputable news at that.
We had this discussion about it years ago. Who would make a "performance" truck out of an F-350, crew cab, long bed!? ...and then put 6 lug wheels on it???
I say put it into F-250/F-350 regular cab 4x2 pickups, and develop a 6-speed automatic to put behind it! I can't see them putting such a V10 in heavier models like crewcabs, and DRW trucks, and the like. Why NOT offer a factory performance heavy duty pickup??? That saves the potential buyer/owner money on upgrading a stock pickup. Plus, it would have a 5 year/60,000 warranty. You start talking about upgrading your new stock truck, and dealers frown upon performance upgrades. Save us the hassle, PLEASE Ford!

It sure looks nice, though.
to answer that question...........pavement princess, mall crawler, all show w/ no go..........
i may have 39's but that don't mean that it can't perform when needed. i have 2 of the most power trucks in my family (a 500+RWHP race truck and the monster 10).........i've been called more than once to come get my uncles tractor/bush hog combo out of the ditch, edge of the pond, ect.... even had to help pull a F350/gooseneck w/ back hoe threw the acrage since the dually had street tires on it, and the Azz end was chunk deep!
The picture of the Supercharged V10 is probably the the Hydrogen powered model Ford developed for testing in the E-450 shuttle/passenger buses. I have the article and thats the exact picture in the article.
Hey, maybe it is REAL, but Ford is trying to introduce some "DISINFORMATION" to fool everyone into thinking it's a hoax. In some secret testing facility(that doesn't exist....), somewhere out in the Southwest(in a state that shall remain nameless), they are really testing these trucks. Hmmmmm. Just something to think about. THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE.
