Over fueling ?
I have larger (Spartan tow)Injectors and sct street tune in the truck, stock turbo and straight exhaust.I need to tax my truck for payload on steep grades.The turbo cant make max boost (over fueling) can I cook a piston or two? The black smoke is thick at times and the power dissapears when a load is working the motor. I worry but is it hurting anything?

Get a EGT guage NOW!!!! I have similar injectors and see EGT skyrocket if you pull a grade below 2,000 RPM's. You will destroy the motor!!!! I have to downsift and make sure the motor stays in a lower gear and then EGT's drop like a rock to a very safe level. At the higher RPM's, I get to enjoy all that new found power. You may want to consider a Snow kit and inject water/methanol. I have the kit and see a 200 degree drop when in use.

Thanks guys.You all confirmed what I thought.Ill put the egt guage (still in the box)in on the weekend.Matt if you read this before I talk to you I need a defuling tune to get me through to the rebuilt turbo.
