just curious what happens when rain gets down the stacks can it rust them out?
i cover mine with little baggies if i'm gone for a week or 2... but besides that it won't do any damage... blows out when you start the truck up... stupid little black droplets all over my bed....
just wait til you get that nice red in the front then it fades to partially black on the bed. LoL. keep it clean b/c those black spots of soot are extremely hard to get off. may be easier on a red truck, but on my white one it sucks gettin' all that sh@$ off of the paint.

took me like an hour and a half to wash my truck last time... and that doesn't count polishing the stacks
Thanks for all the comments guys- they are 5" and I didn't buy a kit, just went to the local truck parts store and bought all the stuff. The stacks themselves weren't expensive at all, only $65 or so each, but the splitter underneath is a bite, spent over $100 on it alone. About $320 all said and done, all brand spankin new. 3" from the downpipe to the bed, 4" in the bed to the stacks. The factory exhaust is 3.5" i believe, my truck parts store had all kinds of adaptors for any thing from 2" to 3.5" to adapt to the 4" i used. very worth it IMO. IT SOUNDS SWEET
