guys i hooked it up today to see what it would do... you can rev it up and it black smokes like crazy... but you can not drive it cuz it flatlines. but i got it on a switch so when i want smoke i got it but when it comes time to drive it i can with the flip a switch...
i'm going to install one of those 50k adjustable resistor things on my truck in the next few days i just wanna find an ohm meter to check what the different posistion on the switch are in ohms and make the switch so i know
and any ideas joe on why it does this in first and second gear it runs alright... but when i put it in third it starts to flatline... would this be cause it is pushing a little bit more boost and asking for a little bit more fuel???
i've messed around with a bunch of different combo's of setups and 22-25.6K is about as high as my '95 will go before performance falls off. I went as high as 27.6K in line and it idled fine but had no power for 2nd gear and up. felt like it was running out of fuel and ran pretty flat (FPR is shimmed). Right now im back to 10K until i get a pyrometer.

no exact measurements, i still dont have the time to hook up the scanner. but if my theorys are correct it is demanding too much oil and you arent flowing enough oil and fuel for it to keep up
