I used Hurculiner on an old 90 Toyota I had. It does fade like others have said. It is way easy to apply, but like others have said prep your bed good. Mine lasted up well for the first few years, but it will scrape, and chip up eventually. I will have Line-x put in my 08 when it arrives next month. So I would save the $100+ and put it towards the best, worth the money. Best of luck.
LOL I think it was day 3 and he went on a weekend rafting trip...apparently, the hours of soaking in the water...the herculiner began to peel off his "hootus". hehe Must of been cold water...shrinkage was too much for the herculiner to hold on to...hehe But there apparently was still a kind of "ink stain" on his hootus that seems to have taken a few days more to wear off.
On about the 12th or 13th page....someone posted the reply from Herculiner...and the last line was thanking him for another "possible use" for their product. LMAO!!
Well, if the Hootus thread doesn't sway you away from trying the Herculiner, I don't think anything will. Just pony up the money and get it Linex'd. That way someone else can risk his hootus and not you!
For heavy use its probably marginal and you'd be better of getting line-x. If you rarely use the bed it might work OK.
Me and my bro herculined my old F150 and it turned out pretty decent. I've also herculined areas of my truck where the tires kick up a lot of rocks and its holding up pretty well.
