im doing my radius arm bushings and the bushings ive got are a lot thicker than the ones that are on the truck. iwent to put them on and cant get the castle nut even close to the hole. every web site have the same part listed for this truck, they dont look like the origanal part. any help would be great.

1965/74 F100/350 radius arm bushings are the same.
C5TZ-3B203-D = Rear / C5TZ-3B203-E = Front _______________________________ 1975/79 F100/350 radius arm bushings are DIFFERENT!
1975/79 F100/350 bushings are THICKER than the type above.
D5TZ-3B203-C = Front / D5TZ-3B203-D = Rear

i think the problem is that the parts store just threw them all under one group, because they list the same part for the 79 f100. the problem is trying to tighten down enough to get to the hole for the castle nut. 79 it does not use a castle nut and has a longer threaded area.
I had the same problem. I lubed it all up with vegetable oil and pressed it together with a "C" clamp. When I pulled the clamp it stayed together enough to get the castle nut started.
Just make sure everything goes together straight.
