2006 F350 Steering

does anyone know why my steering has so much play in it. i have a 2006 f350 and just put a donahoe seven inch lift on it. i know its not going to be perfect but for a truck that has 14k miles on it i didn't think it would have 3-4 inches of play in the wheel already.

37x13.50r20 toyo open country m/t on 20x10's my brother has a 2000 F350 and its been lifted for 60K miles and his steering is tighter than mine.
