I-6 crate motor

I was wanting to put a 300 in my 67' when the 360 finally blew. I was wondering if any one knew where of a place that you could buy a 300 crate motor.

i have never seen 300 6is for create motors but have seen a lot of 302's

A crate engine means a brand-new engine....I don't believe you are gonna find any 'brand-new' 300-6's. A rebuilt long-block is most likely the closest thing you can find. Power Pro and Engine Factory are just 2 sources....a long-block 300-6 will run about $1500 plus shipping probably. Look for local rebuilders to save some money!

I visited their website, watched the movies - sounded interesting. I E-mailed them about core exchange, shipping, the differences between the blocks they listed for my truck. I received some half-butt response from their sales dept. I guess they're not looking for business -or at least mine...
