Most people running them here have the 20" wheels, and that's the only tire you can get on the 20s from the factory.
They have great ratings on different web sites(tirerack.com for one).

I'd consider them if that was the type of tire I was looking for.

When the weather is cold and your truck has not moved in a while they ride like a mule. It takes about 4 or 5 miles before the tires warm up and starts riding good again. But I do like the tires.

I've never heard that about radial tires before......

My Bias Ply swampers set for weeks at a time and when I go drive it, they aren't to bad, just a few miles, and I don't notice it at all(not much to notice to start with).

I have over 30k miles on my Pirelli Scorpions and have been very pleased. With regular rotation I can see very little wear.

I have the Pirelli's as well with about 27,000 miles on them. They do flat spot while sitting for just 8 hours or so. I have increased my air pressure form 35 psi to 40 psi and it is less noticeable. It is still there, just less noticeable. The vibration goes away in about 1-4 miles. It shakes like a earthquake until then.

They also suck in the mud. They are not self cleaning. I have almost gotten stuck on flat ground several times in a year and a half. As soon as they wear out I am getting some BFG's and upsizing.

I have aspirations for 305/55-20 BFG KM2's with a AS level kit.

I will have to say though that they have worn well with regular rotation.

I think they are junk. We had Scorpion STR's on a 1 ton work truck. Even when new, they didnt seem to have very good traction and they wore out quickly. But it might be a different story for a 1/2 ton truck. Even so I've seen people much happier with say BFG A/T's, Dueller Revo's, Destination A/T's and such.

I like my Scorpions. They seem to be very sure footed in the rain and track great on dry surfaces. I live in Florida so I have not experienced any cold weather issues. On the roads they are very quiet. No complaints. Right now I have 9000 miles and plan on rotating them at 10000.

I too have the rough ride with the scorpions on the 20 inch rims after sitting over night. Smooths out after 10 minutes. I will look to put another brand tire on after these are worn out. Any suggestions?

I have the 20" scorpions on mine also same as the rest rough ride at first but happy over all. I have 13000 on mine and I was told by a service tech that these tires will last but they must be rotated or they will cup much faster that most other tires. Also replacement price from tire rack is not bad at all, I think about $125, very cheap for 20's.

I had these on my Mark LT and i have them now on my 01 f-250 PSD. These are great tires, tread wear is above average, dry traction is Excellent, wet traction is also excellent, snow tractions good, and mud is also good. you don't know a truly GOOD tire until you drive a terrible one (Goodyear wrangler HP's) These Scorpion's are Great for the Money

Got them as well and at close to 13K miles I'm pleased. I too have noticed the flat spots and rough ride but I've also been through the Ford Continental Tires debacle (uneven wear after 10K miles, harsh ride, vibration...) so if a few minutes of rough ride is all I have to deal with on these I'll be happy.

Due to the low profile of the 20's and shallow tread these are not very good on any terrain other than pavement and dry loose dirt/gravel. Anything off-road and wet and your probably going to have some issues. However my pavement queen doesn't know what dirt looks like and the scorpions clean up real nice .

I hate them. I have the 20s on my King Ranch, every morning when I get up on the highway the steering wheel shakes back and forth for about 5 miles before they smooth out. It has been doing it since I drove it off the lot. Service manager said it was normal for those tire. They are gonna rebalance them on Monday anyway. I am going to put some Toyo open countrys on the truck. Toyos are very good quality tires.
