I wasn't trying to say Circuit City had the best prices. But if you would happen to buy from there, you can get 10% off.

Understood...it was strange that when I typed in the type of tv for a search...it took me to the Circuit City web site...at $1799.99...even though the slickdeals page said $1349...apparently the prices were much lower in October...$1199-$1299...maybe I should wait until after Christmas...they might come down again. It's obvious the retailers are taking advantage of the "Mob Hysteria" associated with "Black Friday" and the holiday shopping frenzy. I'm glad I checked out this thread!!!
BJs is a c42u...Best Buy and Circuit City are both d64u. I'd like a 46"...but it's probably too large for my space...I sit approximately 6'-7' from the screen. I'll check out the country of origin...does it really make a big difference??
The c42u I do believe is a silver colored TV? I also have a 36 inch in that series and it is an awsome TV as well. It has a 4ms response time compared to the d62u series I have which is 6ms...in other words it responses better to fast movement like in action movies where you might get some tracing, or some call it, ghosting. The d64u is the new line of Aquos TV's and they are roughly the same as the 62 series accept they are a bit lighter and there is an optional 65 inch Tv in that line.
