Has anyone had the problem where their front wipers wont stop. They will operate on high and low. No intermittant. Even when i pulled the 15 amp fuse they kept going. I went back to the book and found a 30 amp fuse. Pulled that and they stop. I have been working too much to look for the solution. My electrical knowledge tells me it is probably a welded contact in a relay. Thanks for your thoughts.
That recall only affected 2001 and older. And the problem was that there was NO function not continuous function. Still wouldn't hurt to check with the dealer.

Hi Monsta
The wipers on my Excursion would occasionally continue to run and when they did stop would sometimes park in the up position.
I know I'm digging up an old post here, but didn't want to start a new one for the same problem. I have the same truck as Keith, an 02 Excursion. I'm currently having the same problem too. The wipers want to run constantly, even with the key out and I have no int wipers. Pulling the 15A fuse did nothing. Pulling the 30A relay will get them to stop. I swapped the relay out with another 30A and still have the same problem. So now what?!
Just did some more troubleshooting. With the switch on the column unplugged, the wipers still work on their own. I'm guessing this means it's the motor???
Bump...
I still haven't gotten anywhere with this thing. I know it's not a super common problem, but I've read a couple of posts here and there with other people having this issue. No one ever says what the resolution was though.
