Gettin Budd wheels off?

Is there special trick to getting the front Budd wheels off? The truck is a 96 F-350 Dump 4x4 Diesel. I tried the old fashion way of beating the tire with a sledge and that didn't seem to help. Air Hammer Didnt really help either. Are they just rusted on?

Thanks in advance,

Derek

thoses would be stuck, rotate the rim and wack it from the back side till it comes off, then antisieze it before re-installing

Warm the rim up around the hub area (no torch). If it is very cold the aluminum will shrink and be a bugger to get off the hub.

yep what Joe said then if that doesn't work some have had luck with putting the nuts on loose then driving the truck in the drive way till they pop loose (so at your own risk!)

I got em today. Had to use a torch. Destroyed a hub in the process. Oh well Live and Learn
