Rhoads variable lifters

Has anyone used the Rhoads variable lifters in their 300??? Do they work as well as they claim?

Rhoads variable lifters

i just thought I would bring this message back to the top...I am planning to replace my lifters (lots of noise) and I happened to run across these rhoads lifters in the Clifford catalog...are they worth the extra $$? Will they work well with a stock motor with 135000 miles?

Rhoads variable lifters

You don't need the Rhoads lifters with a stock motor. They are used for radical cams (282*+ duration) to make them more streetable without having to use a low duration cam. The lifters improve vacume and low end torque also with the large cams by taking ~20* duration off the cam.
