engine transfer will it bolt up

hey i have a inline six 300 out of a 1984 f-150 and i want to know if it will bolt up to a 1956 f-100 1 ton. the 56 truck had an inline six in it all ready but its not doin so good so im thinking of swaping in the 300. please i need help if it will work and you heard of it being done is there any tips or hints
please sombody help i need the truck done soon

Is it a bolt up? No it is not, but you can put the 300 in there. You will have to swap everything infront of the tranmission this includes the bell housing, Ford did build some bell housings the would accept either the new or old trans patterns you will have to have one. You will have to fabrcate the motor mounts. And you will have make your accesories work charging systems etc. These can be fun but they can also turn into a nightmare. the biggest thing is to find a right bell housing for your trans.
