Constant 12V+ Green/Purple
Switched 12V+ Black/Pink
Ground Black/Green
Illumination Light Blue/Red
Dimmer n/a
Amplifier Remote Blue
Antenna Right Front
Front Speakers 6" x 8" Doors
Left Front (+) Gray/Light Blue
Left Front (-) Tan/Yellow
Right Front (+) White/Light Green
Right Front (-) Dark Green/Orange
Rear Speakers 6" x 8" Rear Corners
Left Rear (+) Orange/Light Green
Left Rear (-) Light Blue/White
Right Rear (+) Orange/Red
Right Rear (-) Brown/Pink

This SHOULD be correct. Personally, I'd have used a 10 dollar harness as opposed to cutting into the factory wiring, unless you're fixing someone elses job.

Is it a factory radio or an aftermarket one? Have you confirmed it works?

Note that pin #1 on C257 is logic mute, with out a wire on this pin there will be no sound but the radio will look like it is working OK.

Are you saying you do not ahave a wire for pin#1? If you are hooking up with the Amp system it is the Blue wire coming from the Amp.
If not then yes hook it to the ground wire also (Black wire with a green stripe).

ok i got all the wires connected that the radio has. on the truck there is still a ground and a full black wire. do i have to connect those to anything? theres like 4 more wires on the truck then the radio has. does that extra ground from the truck need to be on something?

The Black wire should go to pin #7 of the gray connector.
Did you look at the two plug diagrams above?

The RADIO does not look like a Ford radio.
What are you working with?
Brand?
Model?
Do you have a manual with it?
If so does it tell what wire color does what?
