Hey, does anyone out there know if a front seat assembly from a 05 F150 supercab will fit a 03 F150 supercab? I miss the seats in my 05, and now that I own a 2003 F150, 6 cyl supercab, I really miss the middle armrest that folds up to make a middle seat. My 03 just has a permanently fixed center console thats WAY too big.

I have a 2002 F-150 XL Supercab with the 60/40 split bench seats. My center console raises up and down with a lever on the passenger side. It's handy and allows for a 3rd front seat passenger if needed. As ATC said any 97-2003 seat set up would work. Though I do miss the Captains chairs and huge center console my 1989 F-150 XLT Supercab had. But the seats in my 2002 are comfortable and supportive. Plus I can fit one extra person in the truck if need be, and I I've had the occassion to do it multiple times.
These seats just aren't quite up to my girth. Plus, the front bolster starts to get to my legs after about an hour on the road. I guess thats what I get for having half ton buns!
So they did have an arrangement like that for htis body style with a foldup armrest, huh? Anyone know of any pictorial type pictures on the web of the different seating types available for these?
does not seem like it would be that difficult to put 05 seats in a 03. they might be different models, but the cab is basically the same size.. i have always got the seats i wanted, no matter what vehicle they came from, and then done a little modification to make them fit. sometimes the seat bolt pattern on the frame is the same, sometimes i use the new frame with the new seats and attach to the floor. usually a couple bolts will line up. i have had to drill a couple new holes and put a plate or big washer under the truck with a new bolt. just take care, do it right, paint any bare parts and you will be happy for life.
You are right my friend. I once bolted a pair of 1980 mercedes 300d seats to my 1968 F100, so my son could have that uniquely solid Mercedes bucket seat feel. Plus, they were free since I work for Mercedes. I guess I could do the same wif my 03, eh?
