Will a C6 bolt up?
I plan on eventually putting a 351 in my truck. I have a C6 that bolts up to the 351, however the engine is not ready and my current tranny is shot. Will a 1978 C6 bolt up to a 1992 I6? BTW, the current tranny is an AOE40D i believe.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 02-Apr-02 AT 01:04 PM (EST)]no, there is different c-6 transmissions unless your motor is a 351 Windsor. The small block motor trans then will bolt up to your 300. The 300, 302, and 351 W have the same bolt pattern.
