Thanks guys for the input, sucks I gota build headers the chev guys got every tube size made for there toys just thought someone would some unmentioned company. Off the shelf headers for my truck com e no bigger than 1.7/8 witch are good for what 400 hp. I'll probly need 2 -2.125 size to support 600+ hp. The block is actualy a 1969 429 , Ive checked out Kooks and there $$$$. Just sucks companies like headman think 1 3/4 are big enough for a built 460. Thats ok for a stroker small block.
The truck is a 1993 lightning that I have owned for 6 years that came with 5.8 250 horse engine that ended up some engine upgrades such as a stoker to 408, victor jr heads ,roller cam ,mass air upgrade. that worked for a while then decided to list the engine, tranny for sale got most my money back and dicided to build a 460, but after pricing a rebuild found going to stoker was not much more money. so with that built a 528. I've made interior changes such as building a center councle puting B&m shifter on it with Procomp Auto gauges speed, tach, tranny temp, oil press, volts, water temp turned out looking factory. Put a big Ford Racing sticker over the old in dash Gauge pod. the truck is red with a 4 inch cowl hood.
