What exactly do you mean by big block Lightning? The first generation Lightning comes with a 351w small block. If this is your engine then try summit racing, they have lots of options.

An 8.8L engine?! Never even heard of it! Where did that engine come from?

Ahh I see... So you mean to say its a stroked/bored out 460? In that case:

You didn't mention the year that the 460 came from, so you'll have to specify.

So what you are saying is that you have a 460 stroked to 528 cid in a Lightning and you are looking for a set of commercially available long tube headers??

I'm afraid you are not going to easily find pre-built headers with bigger than 1-7/8" primaries, and with a stroker engine, I'd imagine you're after 2" or greater. You're probably going to have to weld up your own.

It's actually fairly common thing to do.. bore and stroke a big block ford. Just like people bore and stroke most other things they can find.

I bet that thing will pass everything except the BP station. GEEZ. How the heck you keep rear tires on that thing? Or do you worry about the tires? That's a whole lotta motor.

No kidding.

Most folks who stretch a 385 series to an inch of its life are not going to have to ask about building up a set of headers. I'd like to hear his story, thats all.
