In actuality the Twin I-beam setup in front is great for a pre-runner. Baja-style racers love it if for no other reason than the fact that the articulation you can get exceeds the maximum allowed by Baja rules so its a great way to get full articulation and simply stop the travel with a strap so you aren't in violation.
I simply don't comprehend ruining a perfectly good 4WD especially one with such a short wheelbase for jumping. Thats where the problems begin when jumping... short wheelbase gives you a lot less margin for error on the landing.

well there ya go! your not ruining a perfectly good bronco. beside's it's your's to do as you wish! I dont know anything about pre-runner's? I,m just a budget builder type of person, so if ya got one good frame + one good body, then make it work for ya, just plan it out and figure out which frame will be the easiest to get the part's you want for it?
