most cb antennas don't work good on plastic mirrors,they need a ground,without drilling the best place is on oposite fender from fm antenna and that is not the best if you plan to run any power

I am with 1996PWSTRK Wilson 1000 magmount on the roof, no garage door, but it can be transfered to another vehicle easily.

that's the way I would probly go,not sure how it would work with my little 350 kicker,but have heard it would work
I have always had real good luck with wilson antennas and their customer service use to be real good also

I have a friend with an '02 f350 who mounted his opposite his AM/FM antennae. I believe there is already a hole in the plastic guard below the windshield wipers. His looks real celan and I intend to mount mine like that when I get to it. Works really well since he mounted the CB to the left of the steering column by the fuse panel. I'll try to get picks tomorrow or the next day. Which song is it that says "duel antennaes whippin' in the wind"?

I thought I had a problem with a mirror mount,but after talking to them found it was a ground problem,but they walk me through the correct way to ground it
