603 Won't keep it from running & the cam code could have been set by long crank...
Check your fuses, oil , batteries...Are you getting a WTS light ?
the cps is in all the way and im not getting any smoke and when i try to start it it tries to start i checked all the fuses i checked the level in the hpop and it was full i was going to check fuel pressure but how do check the fuel pressure on a powerstroke and what should the fuel pressure be.
The FP test port is located on the driver side of the fuel filter housing. It's a schrader valve (tire air valve). You can use a tire pressure gage but it gets messy and takes 2 people, one cranking the engine the other holding the gage. You should see at least 30psi while cranking.
i have a nother question on further checking with a scan tool the engine oil temp is reading almost 300 deg and it sat all weekend not pluged in would this have anything to do with the no start
This may be a stupid question but were is the oil temp sensor on a E-350 van i have a book and its not were the book says it is and can the ecm be bad getting a bad signal from the ots im at a loss right now.
I finally got to work on this thing i checked the fuel pressure and it was 0 on further inspection there was fuel pump has been leaking im replacing the fuel pump and i need to replace the rubber seals on the fuel return lines between the the lines and the fittings on the back of the heads and i ordered them from ford and they are way to big and they checked from 94 to 99 and they all call for the same seal so is there any place else i can find them.
