compression check, what 2 look 4
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 27-Apr-02 AT 04:36 PM (EST)]why disable ignition? I performed the test today by taking all plugs out (to minimize battery strain and eliminate compression in other cylinders) and let the plug wires hang down. Seemed to work but maybe i did it wrong.
By the way, my results on the 300 six were from front of engine to rear toward cab:
147, 150, 160, 149, 155, 156

With some electronic ignitions you can damage them if you don't allow for all that energy to go some where. I think you can do it that way if you ground all the plug wires.:-staun
