I went out and started my truck this morning. The key is in it and it's running and my clicker will not open the lock on the doors!!! I don't even remember locking it, how in the heck am I going to get it open? I need to be at work and my truck is running with a 1/2 tank of fuel!! It will run forever! Seriously, this is not a good situation!! Help please!!
gonna have to break in. Do you have a sliding rear window? those are easy to get open with a small screw diver or butter knife. Or if not you need a coat hanger and some paint sticks. Get the paint sticks in the top or front slant of of the door to open it up a crack then slide you straightened out hanger to hit the lock button.
Then after work get three spare keys made up. One in your wallet, one in your house, one to your wife, maybe even one more tapes/strapped to the underside of your truck.

No sliding rear window, I wish! Just a straight coat hanger and pull up? Is the lock bottom directly below the door handle or where?
Get a thin piece of metal and bend it 90deg. Slide it under the rear of the vent window just above the weatherstrip and pull the button on the vent window lock towards you. Then slide another straight piece of metal under there and push the lock rearward. Then open the window and stick your arm in. Easy to do if you know how.
well since you have an XLT go in through the wing and hit the unlock button with a coat hanger. dont ask how i know this. hope you have it unlocked by now though.

That is the best way. You canslide a coat hanger thru the vent window and have the hanger bent at 90 degrees that way you can tap on the unlock button till it unlocks.
you can go in, on between the window seal you use a "u"shaped bit of 1/4" round rod.
you put i in the door move the end of the "u" under the veritical lock button annd lift. works well very easy.
but i'll bet you are already in,, best thing to do is to tape a spare key to the brake line so you always have one.. best of luck.. J
