There are guy's here that can open your vehicle faster than you or I with a key. With no damage. Never mind how fast a thief is. Open and running and not even in the vehicle yet. (super quick)

This is more of a PM thing. No education here.
Hope you got in. It was cold in most parts this morning.

Thanks for all your help/advice! I got it open by running a coat hanger through passenger side door at the front in front of the little triangle push out window. I made a nice hook and 90 degree angel and pulled the latch forward/open, pushed the window in, stuck my hand and activated the power lock OPEN! It wasn't too easy on the door sill but no real harm was done. On the way home I'm getting two or three keys made. My clicker is working again now, did it not work because the truck was running with the key in the ignition? I must have accidently locked it when I started it and shut the door. It idled for almost two hrs. will that hurt anything? Didn't seem to.

Thanks again!

Just your wallet. You gotta rember semi trucks idle all night long to keep the heat going in the winter.

As you found out the key fob won't work if the key is in the ignition. I don't even think it has to be running. Glad you got in without using the brick!

Hi, I'm new here just been reading . To get into a locked truck with vent windows, use a Bail from a brake master cylinder. You 'll find that the bends are perfect to grab the handle and press on the little button at the same time. Then just turn. Just FYI. An old mechanic showed me this trick. Sorry this is late.

READ THIS

to make your fob work with key in ignition or running you gotta cut the brown wire that goes into the keyless brain behind the stereo. you have to connect it back up if you ever want to reprogram more remotes. good luck

The local police wont always unlock vehicles anymore, YOu have to call a tow service to do it.

Atleast in michigan. Something about liablity, They wont even jump your vehilce now.
