Piston Pin Diameter
Does anybody know if pistons from 289/302 motors will fit? I know they have the same bore (4.000"). I'm just asking because there are two different pin sizes .912", and .975" for both the 240 and 300.

Ford 289/302 pistons P.D. are .9122". Same with the 351W.
To use these pistons, you need 240/300 rods from '65-'67 (the 240 rods are longer).
After '67, the pd on both the 240 and 300 went up to .975".
