Anyone have these tires on a SuperDuty that does gravel, mud, snow? I am considering a 295/70/17 D and will pull a small trailer. I have purchased Michelin/BFGs for a LONG time, but cannot get my retailer to put on the tires I want. But, that's not what this thread is about.
I DO NOT care about looks, but am concerned about performance. How have they worked in gravel, mud and snow? Do you ever pull a trailer, or haul a bed full of gravel?
Thanks.
I may buy the BFG MT KM2s I want but it'll be a pain in the *** compared to getting the Coopers. I'd rather not have that inconvenience, but if the Coopers are all show and no go I'll get the BFGs.
My cousin ran 37's on a dodge cummins. They pulled good in the mud and he pulled a 4 horse trailer. He had about 40K on them when he traded his truck and they were still in decent shape considering he might have rotated the twice.
Im just about done running a set, Ive got 30,000 miles on them and they maybe have 5 thousand left. I think there excellent in the snow and seemed well enough in the mud or anywhere else I went. Had only 1 flat because of a nail. They seemed a bit noisier than some of the other Mud terrains Ive had. I would probly buy another set but I like trying different tires. Trying some Dick Cepeks this time around.
