Are they both stock ? The mileage is really good but that sounds high unless it has some mods already.
I was looking at about 18-20 for a 2000-2002 but I wanted the 7.3.. I ended up with a REALLY good deal on one that needed a few things. Bought the truck put tires, chip, intake, surf racks (500.00) leveling kit, 2 new batteries, Alternator, windshield, Complete fluid change and detailed for 14,900.00 .. I still feel bad- well not really
some of this I did just to start fresh, some things like the windshield was broken, we are a surfing family so racks were a must.
Of course price depends on the area you are in as well ....
I found a very nice 2000 Ex Limited with only 55k on the odometer, but the guys wants stupid money for it. Like we wants 27k and will talk at 25k. No matter how good the 7.3L is these older Excursions are going for 25% more than the book value is. Is it really worth that much?
I meant for 25-30k I can buy a 2004 6.0L with the same mileage and its 4 yeras newer!
Thoughts?
give him your contact info and tell him to call if and when he decides to sell at the price you are willing to pay.
