A brother-in-law has an engine his trying to fix up to put into a 56 f100 but yet has to figure what block he has this all he found i did a lil searching here but didnt get far but a lil closer...
1) W1FK 408AA------ around where starter goes
2) 351WCP21----- just below where head goes
3) JX168898---- in bell housing or somewhere around there
it was dark when he got this #'s might have read them wrong
any help appreciated thanks !!!
Supposely guy he got it from said it was out of a crown vic. but had it in a truck.
2) seems to confirm it's a 351
Ask him to double check 1) as it's really different from what one would expect on a small block Ford. The AA suffix is the only part that seems plausible.
we got a new casting number as follows
>>>>>>>> E4AE 6015 FA21 <<<<<<<<<<
.......................BB 2................. on bottom
Any guess??????? THANKS FOR ANY INFO! =)

About all I can tell you is E4AE is a 1984 casting number. But casting numbers do not translate to actual part numbers.
All the 1983/88 351W's use the same bare block. Ford part number: E3AZ-6010-B.
