behind the cab tool boxes

Where would I find these. I'm looking at a 89 F250. One of the considerations about buying it is that it has a flat deck. Which means I would have to find a way to haul small items. (chains, jumper cables, the usual stuff) The truck is a long wheelbase but only has a 7Ft deck on it. Which by my math leaves about 12 inches between the back of the cab and the headache rack. I'm searching to see if anyone out there makes a tool box to the diamension to fit this. It would not need to be fancy. 12"W X 60"L X 24"H would be the right diamensions. If nothing else I'll build it out of plywood but I'd much rather have a professional built (or at least look like it) tool box to fit there.

TIA

Are you talking about one that is NOT a crossover style box?

Lowe's sells one like that, it's made for pickups but it's made to bolt down to the bed floor rather than to the bed sides.

Another thought is to use one of the side boxes for regular beds, but just put it cross wise, not sure if the length is ok or not though.

I have considered underbody boxes but I am questioning if this is the best answer. I also considered bolting a run-of-the-mill crossover toolbox directly to the flat bed. I'd hate to waste the space between the cab and the flat bed. I'm hoping there is an answer. I'm open to all suggestions guys.

If you have a picture of the truck, it would probably help us a lot.
