Well I started ripping out the inteior yesterday, found a bit of rust on the floor pans and where it was leaking around the windshield gasket and back window. Hope to get deep into it tomorow. will keep you posted for those interested.
BTW it's a 76 Hi-boy

Well got the front and back glass out, front had holes at the top corners and one about the middle, back had holes at the top corners and one on the bottom right corner. good news is all were smaller than a pencil. Put navel jelly on them, will grind on them a little tommorow then weld them up. Overall pleased with the small amount of rust I found. (so far)
got just about all the front end off, had to get a new radiator support and left side inner fender well, still need a right fender, but have a couple located so should be no problem. most of the problem on the front end was from the battery, you know how that battery tray rust's out and just continued on to the inner fender and radiator support. It wasn't as bad as I was expecting so that is good news. Anyway for those interested I will try to post updates a little more often. Would like to get some input on what I may need to be looking at while I have it apart. I have a few pics posted in gallery's, it's called finally started.
Well guys it's been a year since I posted last and the truck is coming together slowly, between work and new Grandkids I don't have as much time as I would like to have. anyway check out my gallery pics named finally started. the front end is close to being all one piece again.
can't wait to drive it, It had been sitting in my Dad's barn in Oklahoma since 2002, In Nov 2007 my best friend drug it down here to Texas for me, He wants to see it running almost as bad as me. As for performance parts, I rebuilt an old Carter AFB, and the intake came from a 68 GT-500, and a set of headers, no internal upgrades. all that happens when I get around to rebuilding the 460 sitting in the garage, and swap out the Dana 44 front to a dana 60.
Hey guys,
Been a while since I posted anything, a lot of things have jumped ahead of my truck lately. I have been doing a little here and there, can almost see the finish line. a while back I realized I don't have the time to really go through it like I really wanted to, parts are hard to come by and expensive, so I'm going to fix what needs fixing and this should be the last truck I ever own. posted some new pics in my gallery so check them out.

For anyone remotely interested, I have a couple of new pics posted in my gallery. It has taken me much longer than I thought to get this far, just not as much time to work on it than I would really like. I know it will be well worth it in the end though. Getting really close to being drivable though.
