Just a quick question regarding the rear shock options for a 2000 F-250 Crew Cab Lariat, standard height 5.4 motor. Bilstein shows 2 numbers that will fit this application: BE5-C296-HO AND BE5-2819-HO is there any difference in these 2 shocks?
According to Bilstein BE5-2818-HO is for the front of a 2000 F-250 superduty crew cab 4WD and BE5-C296-HO or BE5-2819-HO are for the rear. Just was wondering what the difference between the 2 rear ones were?

Cant say for certain but if I remember right when I stalled mine they were two different lenghts. The rears have a firm plastic sheath/boot and the fronts have a flexible rubber boot.
