Bed Swap

I have a 1979 F350 4x4. It currently has a complete body swap from a 1978 F150 due to rust. The body isn't great. I have found a 1979 F350 2wd Camper Special with a great bed on it. I realize the wheelbase is different. Can I relocate the rear axle of the F350 4x4 to accomodate the Camper Special bed? I understand that a new driveshaft will be required. Will my frame have the mounting holes to relocate the shackle assembly?

I would cut the frame off the Camper SP and pu it on the other truck bed and all then find a drive shaft

I'd also like to know this.. for me, going from standard wheelbase to a shortbed.

Do all our frames have proper mounting holes for different sizes? I always assumed not, but it's worth asking.
