Thumbs up 1994 power window problem

Hello. Been away since I sold my 65' glad to be back in the ford family!
My 1994 f150 power window on the passenger side is slipping and will not roll the window back up. The motor works fine just won't cetch. Any ideas?
Thanks.

There r gear replacement kits Which sound like your problem . Replaces the plastic gear on motor . They r cheap and easy to fix. Use drill out rivets and remove fix and use bolt to put back in. Good luck

I had to do this too..
Autozone, advanced..whatever,- They sell the gear for $19.00 its a 2/12 inch plastic gear with a metal gear set inside of it and there are three small rubber torque buttons inside of that,it this comes in one piece with a tube of grease.
Now, take off the interior panel,You drill out the rivets in the door(Your gonna replace the rivets with hardened bolts and the nuts with the plastic in the threads Wax nuts?.lock nuts.I dunno what their called -you know what I mean-) base the bolt size on the holes in the door that are allready there from the rivets.
You have to disconnect the Actuator arm from the bottom of the window channel, and remove the entire contraption out of one of the openings in the door-its easier this way believe me.
The motor is attached to the actuator-(Thats the thing with the big 1/2 gear on it and the long arm that attaches to the window channel)
get out some sockets and detach the actuator from the motor, take off the gear plate on the motor, take out the old gear and or,whats left of it. clean out ALL the broken teeth from the old gear-If you dont get them all it'll mess up the new gear, and -well ...
Use all the grease they gave you, inside the motor gear channel and mush it into the gear itself or use a bearing grease-wolfs head etc.etc.
everything goes back together in reverse, but, make sure you grease the window channel real good-this is the problem of why the gears explode..-the channels get gunked up and dried out which binds the motor
get the motor/actuator in place on the door, push the new bolts in through the door so their pointing into the inside of the interior-new nuts.ya done.
