$3.50 per gallon!?!
Can a diesel engine burn heating oil, kerrosene, whale blubber, or anything that doesn't require a home equity loan or a friend at the local fry shack (and modified fuel system)?

it will run fine on No 2 fuel oil, i wouldnt run straight kero in it, not lubed right for your injectors, but ford allows a mixture of diesel and kero for winter months to aid in cold weather starts and running

Just paid $2.88 here in Charleston, South Carolina. What a rip off and it is only the tip of the iceberg, can ya all tell there is an oil man in the white house? I feel sorry for the independent truckers trying to feed a family with what's left of their pay after a long haul and paying over $3.25 a gallon for fuel. Guess who has to pay for the increase in transportation cost? We do because just about every thing we use is trucked. Thanks GW!

We are at $3.29. I think $4.00 by the 1st of the year easy. Maybe more. Prices on everything else will go up now too. I have to raise my prices now. My trucks fill up twice a week at least. I have to sign contracts for work over the whole of next year in about another month. I have to guess where all this will end up or loose a big bundle.

When it comes to politicians or refineries, you can be sure we are going to get the shaft. Each one is scratching the others back and picking out pockets without shame. There is not much anybody can do until the system self destructs and there is a collapse. Their goal is for each of us to work all week and just sign out paycheck and send it in to them. The rich will get richer, and we will get poorer. That is the way of life. Have another beer while you still have the money to buy it.
