Mobile Update

Ok so I have my mobile moved onto the farm, did that a few weeks ago now.
Got the septic tank dug, and set in place have to order abit more gravel for it. I have the pump out all trenched and most of the pipe set in place. All that is really left to do is put the skirting around it, and trench the 350 foot water line.

If I didnt keep getting called out to work I would be done allreaddy!

Sounds like you're making great progress. Ain't that the way though, work is always getting in the way of getting things done. When I moved my house in I took a 3 month leave of absence, and that was the best tip I got except I should have taken another month. Do you have any pictures for us the see? Just curious.

I dont have any pictures of the septic tank dug on my laptop, but I think i have some of that, and the trenching at the apartment in Stoon. I do have a couple of pics though.

Ok I lied I just have one pic! I was building the blocking and you can kind of see the mobile, just before we blocked it all up.

Saving a ton of money having a hoe. Its neat cause it has a front end loader too. It was a very cool purchase, and I can only hope I can find enough work in the summertime to start business with it!

I don`t think you save a lot of money on one or two jobs for yourself by buying a back hoe but it`s so very handy to have on a farm or acreage.
I know I`ll never be without a Bobcat around here, it`s my right arm.

So far Morris I have "saved" around 7000 dollars I would have paid someone else to do for me. So no I havent paid for the hoe yet, but Ive only just begun! I doubt I will ever do enough work to pay the 30 grand off that I paid for it, but I hope I can do enough work with it to pay it off someday!

it shouldn't be too hard!! do a couple of basements a year, or level for garage pads, she'll be paid for in no time!!

Thats what I was thinking too sherm. Also, with the new sask party in, if they do start going for more oil in saskatchewan, I could really do a ton of work on leases and in camps and whatnot.

no kidding. i'm thinking partnership...building residences for the riggers...

seriously though, its a good plan especially if you are good with the unit. i know i'd pay good money for your work if you were a good hand at it. its hard to find an operator that is in it for more than the money these days!!

Hey we could be a group millionaire kinda thing!

So far sherm Im decent at it. I am kind of slow with it still, but I try and take my time and do things right.

When I got hired on at the tire shop in pa, the foreman told me first youll learn to do it right, then youll learn to do it fast.
I have always tried to be this way, and that saying stuck in my head, so i try to keep doing things that way!
