fuel injectors not working

fuel injectors not working

1989 f250 351w. i just swapped out the motor. now it wont start i have spark and fuel to the rail and timing should be good. the injectors arent opening. ive been reading other posts and ive tried 2 different distributors. and the ecc was just replaced before the engine swap and worked fine. i have 12 volts to injectors. apparently im not getting a ground from the computer. what should i do now. help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Sounds like you left the small black wire with a green stripe off at the NEG post of the Battery.

thanks for the input i checked the grounds and they are hooked up. i was looking around and i seen a chipmunk or mouse had been nesting under the upper intake. i guess i should pull the intake and check for chewed wires on the harness. i can see most of them and they look alright if one of the wire were chewed threw would that make them all the injectors stop working.
