In the photo above, there's a steel-looking fitting (the restrictor) and a brass-looking one (the 1/8" NPT adapter). Are these interchangeable and do the same thing, or are they BOTH needed?
Is there any reason a guy couldn't just run a drill through the restrictor fittings? What's the Circlip retain? Would removing it open up the restrictor?

ok guy's.. fixing my line right now..the part ## above is a good ## if you get these at a IH dealer..i am putting this line back in now..i snuged it down with my fingers to where it feels like the 0ring bottomed out..i then went about 1 more turn..give or take..should i be able to pull the line in and out a little bit??or should it feel tight in the fitting?? i dont want to over tighten it ..at the same time i dont want to put this together and have it leake..i took my spider and IC tube off to do this..thanks...
