New to Ford, bought a 96 150XLT Lariat manual. Testing the water...anyone dig crazy chicks with a truck that wants to offroad like a mad man?. So far my truck is stock but I plan to get another one and jack the ballz off 'er and it will be a 4x4 with a minimum of 38" mudders. I will get some pic's up in a few days when I finish fixing it and can move it.

Howdy and welcome Demonz454bb, Hmmmmmmmm crazy chick that wants to offroad like a madman nope don't beleive anyone around here would be interested. LMAO!! Check out the forums for 4x4's and the 96 models and I'll bet you'll meet a whole bunch of folks that like to off-road like a madman. Glad you join us in you quest in search for help and knowledge about Ford trucks. Good folks and good info to be had by all. Don't find the info you're looking for in the daily forums try the search option tons on info there also. Don't forget to ck. in with your loacal Chapter up there North of the Border.

LOL, just a little crazy...lol. I use 1 screen name for several forums but the reason being I chose Demon and 454bb is because i will have a big bad Demon carb and a 454bb in my Iroc...I'de like the 572 but money doesn't grow on my trees, lol. But if you feel the need to rip on me...how about I 454 power my Ford....lol. This is a pretty calm forum, and established forum with good people minus a few I will comment on in the appropriate thread, but...if your up for some friendly trash ripping...I'm game baby, lol.

OHH you have the sixer ,good engine,not a power house but very dependable,if you are going to put a lift and tires on it I would look into a better tranny ,the original 5 speeds are not to strong,if it,s a lariat it should say on the top of the glove box in the cab

Ya, it's just the 6, but it was only $1400, lol. I would like to throw this truck to the mud and see how it comes out but I will get another one to play with and get retarded on. On the dash it says xl and has an xlt emblem what looks to be glued on, lol, I don't know. I should have the truck fixed today and plan to get some pic's up.
