I saw this and thought, great. Then remembered that when I drove to dump old wood, drove into the Home depot parking lot and drove in the Ace hardware lot on Saturday I did get three "nice truck!" On Saturday it was from a guy in his 60's...
So where are the chicks? Don't even get smart and tell me their down on the farm...

If the truck was in Petaluma, it's quite possible it's a magnet for chicks...hens and roosters.
You know what is? I went to an air-cooled VW show this past weekend. They love the old Buses. You know why? Because they are "cute."
That got me thinking. A VW Bus with a Y Block.
When I used to live in SoCal there was an old Beetle which was a former drag car running around town with a BBC and a T400. Had one seat mounted aprox where the back seat was, full roll cage and some fairly huge back tires.
He pulled into the dealership one day to pick up a part and pretty much emptied the service dept of techs. Took him a 1/2 hour to get away.
My '61's a chick magnet. Pulled into the post office the other day and some 80 year old lady sitting in the car I parked next to said, "Nice truck". Hey, I'll take it. 80 ain't so far outa my range as it used to be.
In the 80's you could have been boss, now they just think were hicks, girls arent to interested in your ride these days as a whole.I see lotsa young guys runnin round in nice old trucks waitin for that girl to flag them down, not gonna happen.I know a guy who builds cool stuff and i think its to get attention from chics, but its in you not your vechicle, theres a black guy in town who drives a 74 County Sqiure wagaon hes got the finest white girl you ever saw, build vechicles for yourself and pick up on chics on foot,i met my wife at the bank, she was the boss!!
I got all kinds of waves and smiles and "Nice Truck" and "Nice Ford" from all ages it is funny to get random people waving or giving you a thumb's up for a change.lol It's just confirmation that I bought the right truck.
It's like this old Kentuckian at Ft. Knox used to tell me when I was in the Army, when the old nurses would flirt with me, "Boy, it's better to have Old Hen than Pullet ..."
My red 1967 Mustang gets lots of looks, but mostly from old timers and little kids!
Paint it turquoise, women love the color. My 56 F 100 is painted purple and I get lots of complements from other women.
Well Michelle, Old Ford Trucks just aren't supposed to be purple, darn it. I object to your blatant feminization of of such a manly vehicle!
The 2 main women in my life love all things purple and, sadly, would be drooling over it. Not that...(wiping keyboard)...I would...(wiping again)...ever drive a purple truck...(wiping)...myself.
Aww heck, who am I kidding!. Your truck looks...ummm, ok...in purple! Now, where do I turn in my Man Card?
Seriously though, that's one great looking F-100 Michelle. Well done!

I disagree. Mine's Turquoise. In the 10+ years I've owned the truck, I can count on one hand he number of women who have said anything about it - good or bad (Who are not family). It is by far more popular with guys.
