I have heard that a supercharger from a 4.6L mustang will work but it takes some modification. Don't know if that helps, but I hope so. Good luck.
Goose out.
guys just got some lit form procharger they make a kit for the 4.6 with inter cooler for about 5500.00 this comes with everything u need. procharger has answered our prayers. now to start saving $
i emailed them and they sent me a packet of information containing all of their new kits and the eff ratings. Check youtube and search procharger Ford and you will find a guy with a good video of his on a 4.6
i had it on my 02 4.6 and it fits still with my 05 4.6
Did you have to modify anything? I've had the same thought that not much has changed to the basic placement of the engine components. Even the belt routing is the same for the '08 5.4 and 4.6L engines. I just may get the latest package that ProCharger has and detail the installation for this forum. I love a good challenge.
The good folks at Saleen are very helpful, and they know how to make good power with an SC on the ford motors.
So why not call them, and see if they can set you up with a kit.
My truck is not boosted, but my Mustang has the full package, and the products are top quality.
I get 660 HP from My Saleen, and it runs gently until you shove your foot into it, so its still a good daily driver.
Thanks Saleenguy!! I've emailed their technical gurus and have also found this web site: Troyer Performance
I'll drop them an email and see if it's still available and if anyone has tried their kit on a late model F150.
