I have a pic of the funeral procession.
Dozens of Lincoln sedans followed the Packard hearse.
'ol Henry went out in style.
AFAIK, no Lincoln hearses were commercially built after the 1920's.
Packard was the leading seller of Professional Cars
and Ambulances from the teens thru 1954.

They are ugly as sin with that bulbous body.
Did'ja know that from the teens through the 1930's, many hearses featured carved wooden bodies over a steel framework?
Many were works of art with burled walnut, tiger maple and mahogany being the wood of choice. In those days, ppl went out in style.
Now they take their last ride in a shapeless Cattle Hack.

I'm no fan of ersatz burled wood, but considering all the blah gray interiors in new vehicles today..ersatz wood does dress 'em up. One can also step up and spend the bucks (or the loonies) and get real wood dash trim from several sources.

i've thought about doing it myself for some parts, but the effort and time isn't worth it just to have someone drag a key across it, or spill coffee... i'll wait until i have a show worthy truck, (which likely won't ever happen) then go hog wild. looks good to me though.

That is weird Ryan. Maybe they just had an ambulance sitting around with low km's on it?

I'm kinda worried what he means by Hot Rod, but I think I know what he is planning, sadly I'm guessing it will have valve covers.....
