Air Leveling Suspension

Air Leveling Suspension
My air bags for this suspension are no good, anyone know where I might look to buy these other than at the dealership? Compressor and selonoids, etc. are still good. All the parts stores around here haven't even heard of it. Couldn't find any on ebay.

Thanks in advance.

I am not sure of the exact type of air suspension that Ford used on these trucks but, there are numerous companies out there that offer this technology. http://www.airliftcompany.com/ is one. You might look in the FTE forum for Brakes, Steering, Suspension, Tires, & Wheels Good luck!

thanks for the reply kingranchman02.
I was really looking for an original equipment replacement. I may have to bite the bullet and try the dealership again. In addition to auto leveling, auto load compensation, etc. OE would need no fabrication or modifications.
The problem I think is that these systems are kind of rare on these trucks. I know Ford used them on Lincoln mark 8's. Maybe I should think about replacing them with coil springs.

If this is what I think it is, it's not worth buying anymore. The part has actually gone up in price and it's over $550 for the bellows alone. The part number is F75z5a891ca and is completely out of hand. I have one out right now and I'm not bothering with it and just going to change out the springs. Some heavy duty springs and I've got a normal truck suspension that if I wish, I can add a $200 plus load leveling aftermarket kit. Ford really pisses me off on this one as the price for replacement bellows (bags) realistically should be in the $75 range each.
note: I'm posting this for the next poor fool that buys one of these trucks used.

I recently looked into a very similar situation, the only difference being that the other truck was the light duty not the Heritage.
As jimmyz mentioned, the direct replacements are hard to come by and overpriced. A aftermarket kit should fit but can't be guaranteed as it would be used beyond its design. I'm still trying to assist the other owner on finding a solution, anything I come up with I will pm you with if you would like.

I complained to Ford about this and actually got a response. But it was just a "too bad, so sad" message.
This was for the Light Duty as well. I think I might start another thread on this. Ford needs some pressure on this issue. The price they want for the replacement part is so out of line it's offensive.
