Annoying issues
I am the owner of a 93 F-150 4x4 XLT supercab. 5.0, AOD 176,000 miles
After the truck sits over night or at work I start it and it cranks right up as usual but lately it will start then stall once and it fires right back up and doesn't stall again. It idles smooth and still gets the great 11 m.pg. it always got! Another issue that started about the same time is when I accelerate I hear a what sounds like a vaccuum leak but it only makes the "noise" while I'm driving in gear and starting off. I've been under the hood and checked all the vac lines with a guage and everything reads what it should. The noise is only when I am driving, couldn't hear it when I was under the hood and revved the motor. It hasn't hurt performance a lick more of just an annoyance same with the stalling. ANY IDEAS??
Thanks
As for the vac leak sound, what kind of filter are you running? I know my K&N open element sometimes whirrs like a vac leak.
