cheap build

anyone no where i can get a *17 hpop and other parts to do a cheap build up on a 97 7.3 to get a decent amount of power out of already have turbo and innercoler

i've heard of people gettin the 17hpop from junkyards on a SD. im sure junkyards would be a good place

Also if you have connections at an IH dealer you can get a HPOP for around $350 as well.

But unless you already have intake, exhuast and gauges...those need to be first on your list. Then if you do go with larger injectors you need some tranny mods to hold the power. Also no matter what you do now a larger tranny cooler should be looked into.

yep modding these truck is only cheap when compared to buying a brand new one!!

Also you have a great start to a performance truck. I would suggest a DIY stage 2's kit for injectors and a chip from total diesel performance (tony wildman) burned for the injectors.

On a side note how do you like the H2E? Is it laggy with the stock injectors?
